Description of Unusual Property Conditions: <br />Proposed Peak Over Existing House <br />-House was built in 1900 and the existing rafters are ori^al 2 ”x 4” construction. <br />Ice dams are produced over the entire entry area from the less than standard insulation. <br />-The origmal variance was for a covered entry which would create a valley between the <br />new covered entry peak and the existing stairwell dormer. This valley would create an <br />even greater ice dam problem. <br />-The proposed peak over the existing house would enable the installation of more <br />insulation and create a needed vented ur space to stop ice dams from forming. <br />-Side set back would be the same as the original variance. Hard cover is not affected. <br />-Neighbors views are not affected at all.
