PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: <br />The Planning Commission recommended by a 4 to 0 vote to: <br />Deny the application based on the following; <br />1.The proposed structure is inconsistant with the intent of the Comprehensive Plan for the City <br />of Orono. <br />2. The structure is new construction, as no structure exists within the 0-75' lakeshore setback. <br />3.ITie location would be in conflict with the average lakeshore setback established to protect <br />lake views for adjacent property owners. <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION: <br />To deny the application. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />To direct Staff to draft a resolution for adoption by the City Council.
