The previous day care center ceased <br />operation in October 1997 and a new conditional use permit is required. <br />The applicant has indicated that they have 3 shifts of workers. The ratio of <br />children to workers is based on the number of children and their ages. The <br />ratios are set by the Department of Human Services (DHS) and are regulated <br />by the state licensing process.
