i <br />»“-T. ■ 1 •-tv-v y.. •: <br />CITY ’ <br />fibNOl <br />City of ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. __2563 _____ <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY TREASURER <br />TO DESIGNATE DEPOSITORIES OF CITY FUNDS <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono Investment Policy has <br />stated guidelines for selecting depositories and investment <br />firms; and <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota State Statutes do authorize the <br />City Council to delegate the responsibility of designating <br />depositories of pub-lic funds to the City Treasurer or Chief <br />Financial Officer; and <br />WHEREAS, the investing of City funds does, on <br />occasion, occur prior to the formal adoption of the institution <br />as an approved depository. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of <br />the City of Orono, Minnesota, that the City Treasurer is hereby <br />authorized to act on the City's behalf to designate additional <br />depositories of City funds upon concurrence of the City <br />Administrator or Acting Administrator and within the guidelines <br />of the City of Orono Investment Policy. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, <br />Minnesota, at a regular meeting held on December 12, 1988. <br />ATT] BT: <br />Jamea R, Grabelf, Mayor <br />I w / <br />or^hy M.
