A RESOLUTION GRANTING <br />VARIANCES TO <br />MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br />SECTION 10.56, SUBDIVISION 16 (C-2&6); <br />SECTION 10.22, SUBDIVISION 1; AND <br />SECTION 10.24, SUBDIVISION 5 <br />FILE #2448 <br />WHEREAS, Doug A. Carlson and M. Catherine Ray (hereinafter "the <br />applicants") are owners of the property located at 780 North Arm Drive within the City of <br />Orono (hereinafter "City") and legally described as follows: <br />Lot 7, Auditor's Subdivision No. 362, Hennepin County, Minnesota (hereinafter "the <br />property"); and <br />WHEREAS, after due and published notice and mailed notice in accordance with <br />Minnesota Statutes and the City of Orono Zoning and Planning Codes, the Orono Planning <br />Commission held a public hearing on January 19, 1999, at which times all persons desiring to <br />be heard concerning this application were given the opportunity to speak thereon; and <br />WHEREAS, the applicants have applied to the City i. r variances to Municipal <br />Zoning Code Section 10.56, Subdivision 16 (C-2&6); Section 10.22, Subdivision 1 (B); Section <br />10.24, Subdivision 5 to permit construction of a screened porch addition to an existing <br />residence located in front of the average lakeshore setback and encroaching into the required <br />30' top of bluff setback. <br />Minnesota: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br />FINDINGS <br />This application was reviewed as Zoning File #2448 <br />Page 1 of 6
