VILLAGE OF ORONO <br />Regular Iieeting of the Village Council, <br />iiarch 27, 1972 <br />The Village Council met on the above date <br />with the following members present: Acting <br />Mayor Dorn, Councilmen Butler and ilassengale. <br />Absent: Mayor Oberhauser and Councilman <br />McCarthy. <br />Butler moved, ?Massengale seconded, that <br />the Minutes of the Regular Fleeting of <br />March 13, 1972, be approved. ?•lotion, <br />Ayes (3) - Nays (0). <br />Butler moved, Massengale seconded, that the <br />request of James Lindsey for a conditional <br />use permit to operate an antique shop at 2314 <br />Shadywood Road, subject to the facility <br />remaining in keeping with the residential <br />area including: <br />1. No outside storage or display of <br />merchandise. <br />2. Convenience lighting only. <br />3. Maintenance of the exterior as a residence <br />without alteration. <br />4. Encouragement of off-street parking for <br />customers. <br />5. No lighted window signs. <br />6. A permit to use a painted 12 sq. ft. <br />outside sign. <br />7. Weekday operation only. <br />Motion, "Ayes (3) - Nays (0). <br />Reed idackenzie appeared concerning a request <br />to put on an art fair at Ski Tonka on two <br />weekends in June. A discussion was held <br />wit:i a number of neighbors in attendance. <br />Action was deferred until tie next meeting. <br />Massengale moved, Butler seconded, that a <br />request for a variance for Gary Hostetler, <br />1350 Rest Point Circle, due to a hardship <br />and since the lot is in single separate <br />ownership since 1967, be approved. Notion, <br />Ayes (3) - Nays (0). <br />Butler moved, Massengale <br />variance in lot size and <br />Larson, 1396 Baldur Park <br />Block 1, Baldur Park, be <br />Ayes (3) - ?Jays (0). <br />seconded, that a <br />width for John <br />Road, Lot 16, <br />approved.
