1 <br />CONTINENTAL <br />Pro pert V Group, Inc. <br />U <br />October 29, 1999 <br />Mr. Paul Weinberger <br />Zoning Administrator/Planner <br />City of Orono <br />2750 Kelley Parkway <br />Orono, Minnesota 55356 <br />Re: Request for Further Information on Application No. 2540 <br />Dear Mr. Weinberger: <br />I write in response to your letter of October 8,1999 in which you <br />request the following additional information relating to my application for <br />a conditional use permit on my property located at 2523 Kelly Avenue: <br />The survey you have provided to us indicates existing <br />structures and the shoreline of Lake Minnetonka, however <br />the survey is required to show previous and existin; <br />topography over the entire property. <br />‘g <br />2)Cut and fill calculations for the amount of fill, in cubic <br />yards, that has been added within the 75 ’ lakeshore <br />setback. <br />In response to your first request for a previous and existing <br />topography over the entire property, I am unable to fully comply with <br />your request because I am not in possession of a preexisting topographic <br />survey of my property. However, I have had prepared an existing <br />topographic survey, a copy of which accompanies this letter. I do not <br />understand your request for a topographic survey of the entire property <br />when only lakshore area is the subject of my application. During the <br />Spring and Summer of 1998, wind and rain storms toppled several tress, <br />which was likely to cause the soil to erode on the hill facing the shoreline <br />of my property. For this reason, I placed boulders on my property to <br />prevent erosion of the hill. Other than this landscaping, no change to the <br />topography has taken place. <br />In response to your second request for cut and fill calculations <br />within 75 feet of the lakeshore setback, I reiterate that nothing has been <br />added or removed from the property other than the boulders placed at the <br />edsze of the hill. No soils were added in connection with the landscaping, <br />and the grade is substantially the same as it was before the trees were <br />253 East Lake Street, Wayzata, Minnesota 55391
