H <br />permitted: <br />§ 10.61 <br />[d. 2. Signs in "R" Districts. Within "R" Districts, the following signs are <br />SNameplates. <br />^^^e nameplate sign for each dwelling and such sign shall not <br />exceed two square feet in area per sihii^e, and no sign shall be so constructed as to have more than <br />two surfaces. <br />2. One naraepiqje sign for each dwelling group of six or more units, <br />and such sign shall not exceed six square feet inJ^a per surface and no sign shall be so constructed <br />as to have more than two surfaces. <br />3. One nameplate sign for Sbi^ermitted use or use by conditional <br />permit other than residential and such sign shall not exceed tw«<;^quare feet in area per surface. <br />B. Illumination. Symbols, statues, sculptures disintegrated architectural <br />features on non-residential buildings may be illuminated by flood lights pr^S^d the direct source <br />of light is not visible from the public right-of-way or adjacent residential dis^ <br />C. Setbacks, Etc. Any sign over one-half square foot shall be setbq^ at least <br />five feet from any property line. No sign shall exceed eight feet in height above the avera^rade <br />level. Signs may be illuminated but such lighting shall be diffused or indirect, <br />Subd. 3. Signs in "B" and "1" Districts. Within the "B" and ”1" Districts nameplate <br />signs and ousiness signs are permitted subject to the following regulations. <br />Source: Municipal Code <br />Effective Date: 9-14-67 <br />A. "B-1", "B-2" and "B-4": Size. Within the "B-l", "B-2" and "B-4" Districts, <br />the aggregate square footage of sign space per lot shall not exceed the sum of one square foot for <br />each front foot of building, plus one square foot for each front foot of lot not occupied by a building. <br />No individual sign shall exceed fifty square feet. <br />Source: Ordinance No. 172 <br />Effective Date: 1-1-75 <br />B. ”B-3": Size. Within the "B-3” District, the aggregate square footage of sign <br />space per lot shall not exceed the sum of four square feet per front foot of building, plus one square <br />foot per front foot of property not occupied by a building.
