For heat recovery ventilators (HRV) and energy recovery ventila- <br />tors (ERV) the average hourly ventilation capacity must be determined in consideration of any reduction of exhaust or out outdoor <br />air intake, or both, for defrost or other equipment cycling. <br />Continuous ventilation - A minimum of 50 percent of the total ventilation rate, but not less than 40 cfm shall be provided, on a con- <br />tinuous rate average for each one-hour period.
