Stoddard stated there may also need <br />to be a dedicated road to the west of Outlet B. <br />Hawn remarked that the developer may want to design this development to eliminate the backlot if <br />possible. <br />Weinberger stated the road will possibly end in a cul-de-sac in this area and then it would be platted <br />through to the end of the property which would create road access to all the lots In the subdivision. <br />Schroeder commented that that road nay be necessary to allow Waylon access to his property as. <br />well. <br />Weinberger staled that Is one of the reasons for this road.' <br />Gronberg stated he is willing to work with City Staff on this issue. <br />Hawn moved, Schroeder seconded, to table Application #2479, Peter Andrea Company, <br />655 Stubbs Bay Road, to allow the Applicant time to address the Issues raised in the <br />April 19,1999 Planners Report and provide the necessary information. <br />VOTE: Ayes 6, Nays 0. <br />(Recess taken from 8:20 > 8:33 p.m.) <br />(Hawn excuses herself from the Planning Commission). <br />8. #2480 SPRING HILL GOLF CLUB, 725 SIXTH AVENUE NORTH, CLASS II SUBDIVISION, <br />8:33 p.m.-8:38 p.m. <br />The Certificate of Mailing and Affidavit of Publication were noted. <br />Tim Johnson. Representative for Spring Hill, was present. <br />Gaffron stated the Applicants are requesting approval of a preliminary plat. No new lots are being ' <br />proposed with this subdivision, but as one of the conditions of approval with the Spring Hill Golf <br />Club conditional use permit Issued In 1997 required that the golf club grant conservation and <br />fiowage easements to the City over the various wetlands and drainageways on the property. It was <br />determined that this could be most effectively done after the wetland alterations and drainageway <br />reroutings were completed. <br />Gaffron stated the Applicant will need to contact Medina to see whether separate plat approval action <br />Is required by the Medina City Council. <br />• • <br />Gaffron stated that Hennepin County has been Informed of this application, and City Staff has <br />been Informed that Hennepin County will request an additional 10 fool right-of-way on either side of <br />Page 10
