ACCESS <br />The plan proposes to realign the curb cuts for the bus corral area and the parking lot in front of the <br />high school. One driveway curb cut that provides access to the student parking area will be closed. <br />The driveway openings will be improved to provide a perpendicular access to the street instead of <br />the angled access currently provided. <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT STANDARDS <br />The Planning Commission may recommend approval of a conditional use permit amendment if the <br />application meets the following standards: <br />1. The proposed location of the conditional use is in accord with the objectives of the <br />Zoning Chapter and the purposes of the district in which the site is located and the <br />Comprehensive Municipal Plan; <br />2.That the proposed location of the conditional use and the proposed condition under which <br />it would be operated or maintained would not be detrimental to the public health, safety, <br />or welfare, or materially injurious to properties or improvements or improvements in <br />the vicinity; and <br />3.That the proposed conditional use will comply with each of the applicable provisions of the <br />Zoning Chapter. <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br />This application was noticed only as a conditional use permit and not a variance.
