MINUTES OF THE <br />ORONO PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING <br />AUGUST 21,2000 <br />ROLL <br />The Orono Planning Commission met on the above date with the following members present: <br />Chair Elizabeth Hawn, Conunissioners Jay Nygard, William Stoddard, Dale Lindquist, Janice <br />Berg, and Daniel Kluth. Commissioner Sandra Smith was absent. The following represented <br />City Staff: Senior Planning Coordinator Michael Gafiron, Zoning Administrator Paul <br />Weinberger, Assistant Zoning Administrator Wendy Bottenberg, and Recorder Jackie Young. <br />City Council Representative Charles Kelley was present. <br />Chair Hawn called the meeting to order at 6:31 p.m. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />(«1) #2571 DOUG AULT AND JIM GINTHER, 2739 SHADYWOCD ROAD <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT, 6:31 p.m. - 6:31 p.m. <br />This application was tabled at the request of the Applicant. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION COMME?i <br />(#11) PLANNING COMMISSION tt^PPROV.^L OF MINUTES FOR JUNE 19,2000 AND <br />JULY 17,2000 <br />Lindquist moved, Kluth seconded, to apiy.rove the minutes of the Orono Planning <br />Commission meeting of July 17,2000, as submitted. VOTE: Ayes 4, Nays 0, Berg and Hawn <br />Abstained. <br />Nygard moved, Lindquist seconded, to approve the minutes of the Orono Planning <br />Commission meeting of June 19,2000, as submitted. VOTE: Ayes 4, Nays 0, Berg and <br />Kluth Abstained. <br />(#9) REPORT OF PLANNING COMMISSION REPRESENTATIVES ATTENDING <br />COUNCIL MEETINGS JULY 24,2000 AND AUGUST 14,2000 <br />Hawn stated she attended the August 14,2000 City Council meeting. Hawn commented she has <br />no significant issues to report. <br />Smith attended the July 24,2000 City Council meeting but was not present at tonight's meeting. <br />PAGEl
