Section 10.03, Subdivision 9: Location of Accessory Structures A^lication Summary: The variance request is to permit a recently remodeled accessory buiidir.g located in front of a new principal residence that will be constructed on the property. The Haus' pychased the property last year and had a conditional use permit for a guest house approved by the Council. They have decided not to construct the guest house and, instead, build a new residence and remove the existing residence following receipt of a Certificate of Occupancy for the new house. The Property does not have direct access to a road. The lot is accessed via an easement for driveway purposes along the west property boundary of the property to the northeast. The building in question is located along the north property line where the driveway enters the applicant’s property'. The building is located approximately 530' from Bayside Road and 200' from the nearest adjacent residence. A property map has been attached. In the Hardship Statement the applicants have stated they would prefer to keep the building where it is located since they have just completed remodeling the building.
