ORONO PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Monday, May 15,2000 <br />^ r <br />r <br />Smith commented that the engineering issues should perhaps be explored further, and agreed that <br />the Applicants should perhaps speak with the City Engineer to discuss his recommendations. <br />Weinberger stated the City Engineer will speak with the Applicant if so desired. Weinberger <br />suggested the Applicants contact Wendy to arrange a meeting with the City Engineer. <br />Mrs. Rascher inquired what would happen If the application Is tabled. <br />Smith stated the Applicants would probably reappear before the Planning Commission at their <br />June meeting if they are able to resolve the issues. Smith stated the Applicants could request <br />additional time if so needed by submitting a letter asking for an extension of the time limit. <br />Bottenberg indicated the 60 day time limit expires on June 19th, which is the date of the next <br />Planning Commission meeting. <br />Mrs. Rascher requested the application be tabled at this time. <br />There were no public comments regarding this application. <br />Smith moved, Lindquist seconded, to table Application #2584, Andrew and Tracy <br />Rascher, 4705 North Shore Drive, to allow the Applicant time to submit revised plans. <br />VOTE: Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />NING COMMISSION COMMENTS <br />(#11) REF J OF PLANNING COMMISSION REPRESENTATIVES ATTENDING COUNCIL <br />MEETINGS APRIL 2V2000 AND MAY 8,2000 <br />Nygard indicated he was unabtb4o attend the April 24,2000 City Council meeUng. <br />• <br />Smith commented she is not aware of wha,ottended the May 8th meeting. <br />(#12) OTHER ISSUES FOR DISCUSSION <br />Lindquist reported that Hawn and himself attended a breakfast meelJhgLon Planned Unit <br />Developments, which tended to be geared around California rather than Minnbsqta.
