's' <br />t <br />f <br />s'**'kto <br />i- <br />if <br />ORONO PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING <br />MINUTES FOR JANUARY 19. 2000 <br /><Recess taken from 9:20 p.m. - 9:28 p.m.) <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS, CONTINUED <br />(#1) *2540 BRADLEY HOYT, 2523 KELLY AVENUE, AFTER-THE-FACT CONDITIONAL USE <br />PERMITA/ARIANCE, 9:28 p.m. • 9:31 p.m. <br />The Certificate of Mailing and Affidavit of Publication were noted. <br />The Applicant was not present. <br />Hawn inquired whether the Applicant had submitted any additjpKal information on this <br />application. <br />Weinberger stated he has had very little contact with tl^ffApplicant, with no additional information <br />having been submitted. <br />Hawn noted this application has been called on ti4o separate occasions, with no appearance <br />by the Applicant or a representative on his be^f. Hawn stated this application cannot be <br />approved without the additional informatioiylMing submitted. <br />Hawn inquired whether the 60 day review period needs to be extended. <br />Tom Barrett, City Attorney, statedjhe City does have the right to extend the 60 day review <br />period under State Statutes wittM^t the Applicant's consent. <br />Hawn suggested this applip^ion be extended to allow the Applicant time to submit the <br />additional information. <br />Hawn moved, Kli^leconded, to continue the denial of Application #2540, Bradley Hoyt, <br />2623 Kelly Avemra, After-the-Fact Conditional Use Permit/Variance, and to return this <br />matte r back toVw City Council for their review. <br />Barrett notbd the Applicant has received two letters from the City outlining the requirements <br />of the pify relating to the variances. Barrett stated without the additional information being <br />submitted by the Applicant, a hardship has not been demonstrated and the application can be <br />deined. <br />VOTE ON THE ABOVE MOTION: Ayes 5. Nays 0. <br />CONTINUED PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />(#5) #2543 TED AND JUDITH EDIN, 3025 CASCO POINT ROAD • VARIANCES, 9:32 p.m. - <br />10:06 p.m. <br />Ted Edin, Applicant, was present. <br />Weinberger stated this application was tabled at the November Planning Commission meeting <br />to allow the Applicant time to revise his plan in an effort to reduce hardcover. <br />Page 18 <br />6-
