ORONO PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING <br />MINUTES FOR JANUARY 19. 2000 <br />PLANNING COMMISSION-COMMENTS <br />(#14) REPORT OF PLANNING COMMISSION REPRESENTATIVES ATTENDING COUNCIL <br />MEETINGS ON NOVEMBER 22,1999 AND DECEMBER 13,1999, AND JANUARY 10, 2000 <br />This item was not discussed. <br />(#15) OTHER ISSUES FOR DISCUSSION <br />Mayor Jabtx>ur suggested City Staff discuss the applications directly with the Applicants <br />prior to their appearance at the Planning Commission meeting to avoid any confusion <br />regarding hardcover and structural coverage limits. Jabbour stated plastic '-■ sidered <br />hardcover, noting that the City Council also requests that the residents remc.o che plastic <br />underlayment whenever possible. <br />Kluth commented the Planning Commission needs to have as much information as possible <br />regarding an application in order to make an informed decision. <br />Mayor Jabbour thanked the Planning Commission for their efforts on developing the City ’s <br />stormwater management plan. <br />Smith suggested the Planning Commission consider holding a December meeting in an <br />effort to avoid the lengthy meetings in January and February. <br />(#16) PLANNING COMMISSION APPROVAL OF MINUTES FOR NOVEMBER 22.1999 <br />Hawn requested the taped portion of the November 22,1999 meeting concerning the Edin <br />application be reviewed to see if structural coverage was discussed. <br />(#17) SELECTION OF REPRESENTATIVES FOR CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS ON <br />JANUARY 25. 2000 AND FEBRUARY 8. 2000 <br />January 25 • Berg February 8 • Smith <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Nygard moved.
