SUBDIVISION 9(D), <br />SECTION 10.25, SUBDIVISION 6(B), <br />FILE NO. 2620 <br />WHEREAS, Paul J. Pascuzzi, (hereinafter "the applicant") is the owner of the <br />property located at3320 Navarre Lane within the City of Orono (hereinafter "the City") and legally <br />described as follows: <br />Lot 1, WILEY’S NAVARRE ADDITION, Hennepin County, Minnesota (hereinafter <br />"the property"); and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant has applied to the City for a variance to Municipal Zoning <br />Code Section 10.03, Subdivision 9 (D) and Section 10.25, Subdivision 6(B) to allow placement of <br />an accessory structure between the principal building and the front lot line where no accessory <br />structures are normally allowed and 15' from the front lot line where 30' is required. <br />WHEREAS, after due published notice and mailed notice in accordance with <br />Minnesota Statutes and the City of Orono Zoning and Planning Codes, the Orono Planning <br />Commission held a public hearing on October 16, 2000, at which time all persons desiring to be <br />heard concerning this application were given the opportunity to speak thereon. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br />Minnesota: <br />FINDINGS <br />5 ’ • 1. ■ This application was reviewed as Zoning File #2620. <br />2.The property is located in the LR-IC Zoning District, where '/a acre or 21,780 s.f. is <br />the minimum required lot area. The property consists of appro.ximately .16 acres or <br />7,139 s.f. <br />3.The Orono Planning Commission reviewed this application on October 16,2000 and <br />recommended approval by a vote of 6 to 0. <br />Page I of 5
