BAYSIDE ADDITION <br />TO LAKE MINNETONKA, SECTION 5, TOWNSHIP 117, <br />RANGE 23 IN THE CITY OF ORONO, MINNESOTA <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation <br />organized and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and <br />WHEREAS, on .March 3, 198«, Scott C. McLain and Debra McLain <br />filed a petition with the City of Oro.no requesting the vacation of the <br />westerly 100 feet of Brook Street, Baysido Addition to Lake iMinnotonKa, <br />Ken.ncpin County; and <br />WHEREAS, after due published and posted notice, a public <br />hearing was held before the City Planning Cor.tussion on March 19, 198-*, <br />regarding said vacation and all persons interested were given an <br />opportunity to be heard; and <br />WHESE,\S, after due study and consideration, the Planning <br />Co.Tc.ission reco.Tvr.er.ded approval of the requested vacation a.nd the City <br />Council of the City of Orono finds that said vacation, as proposed, is <br />in keeping with the public interest in consideration of the following <br />findings: <br />• • <br />1. The vacation does not affect access to cr use Ok any <br />adjoining property <br />2. The City has not and docs not intend to develop, improve <br />or use the property in any way except for utilities and <br />access purposes hereir.aiter described <br />3.
