Staff Recommendation <br />Staff is supportive of variances to maintain the screen porch area within the average lakeshore <br />setback, and supports the reduction of hardcover on the property. However, the addition of 332 s.f. <br />on a lot exceeding 1,500 before the additions are placed on the house cannot be supported by Staff. <br />The applicants do wish to discuss the issue with the Planning Commission for direction before <br />review by the City Council. <br />Options for Action: <br />1. Recommend approval of variances. <br />2. Recommend denial of variances, stating reasons. <br />3. Table for additional information. <br />4.
