Representing staff were City Administrator Ron Moorse, City Attorney <br />Tom Barrett, Senior Planning Coordinator Michael Gaffion, Zoning Administrator Paul <br />Weinberger, Assistant Zoning Administrator Wendy Bottenberg, City Engineer Tom <br />Kellogg, Public Services Director Greg Gappa, and Recorder Alissa Wintemheimer. <br />Mayor Jabbour called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />7 <br />V <br />^ . <br />1.Approve/Amend <br />Items 6,7, 8,12,13,14, and 16 were added to the Consent Agenda. <br />Peterson moved, and Sansevere seconded, to approve the consent agenda as <br />amended. <br />Vote: Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />’*'2. Regular Council Meeting of August 28,2000 <br />Peterson moved, and Sansevere seconded, to approve the Minutes of the Regular <br />Council Meeting of August 28,2000 as presented. <br />Vote: Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />RECOGNITION <br />3.Recognition of Officer Kurt Erickson—^Resolution No. 4517 <br />Moorse stated that the City Council recently received copies of letters of commendation <br />for outstanding service by the Orono Police Department, and in particular Officer Kurt <br />Erickson, from Jerry Rockvam, Mayor of Spring Park, and Dawn Fitch, Loss Control <br />Administrator for Presbyterian Homes on Lake Minnetonka. Moorse read the resolution <br />that recognized Officer Kurt Erickson for commendations received from Presbyterian <br />Homes on Lake Minnetonka and the Mayor of Spring Park where it was resolved that the <br />Orono City Council hereby recognizes Officer Kurt Erickson for his outstanding service. <br />* <br />•h
