i <br />r!-i <br />i* <br />lLL <br />remaining members of the Board of Directors in attendance at a meeting of the Alliance <br />at which revocation of appointment is proposed. <br />Section 6.7 A quorum shall be required to hold a Board of Directors meeting. A <br />quorum shall consist of a majority of the total number of Directors or their alternates at <br />the time of the specific meeting. <br />ARTICLE VII. EFFECTIVE DATE; ORGANIZATIONAL MATTERS <br />Section 7.1 This Agreement shall become effective on the date when the last of <br />the executed agreements and authorizing resolutions of initial members listed in Article I <br />of this Agreement has been filed as provided in Section 5.3 of this Agreement, <br />Section 7.2 If one of more initial members listed in Article I of this Agreement <br />vote not to become Member Organization(s), the Agreement shall become effective when <br />the remaining initial members become Member Organizations as provided in Section 5.3 <br />of this Agreement. <br />Section 7.3 Within 30 days after the effective date of this Agreement, a <br />representative of Independent School District No. 278 appointed in the authorizing <br />resolution of the Orono Board of Education shall call the first meeting of the Board, <br />which meeting shall be held no later than 60 days after the effective date of this <br />Agreement. <br />Section 7.4 The first meeting of the Board will be the organizational meeting of <br />the Alliance. At the organizational meeting, the Board must elect from among the <br />Directors a chair, a vice-chair, and a secretary. A Director may hold more than one <br />office.
