f. <br />{■ <br />A RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND <br />ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT <br />FOR EAST LONG LAKE AREA SANITARY SEWER <br />WHEREAS, costs have been determined for the improvement of sanitary sewer in the East <br />Long Lake area and the estimated contract price for such improvement is $90,760 and the expenses incurred <br />or to be incurred in the making of such improvement amount to S103,847 so that the total estimated cost of <br />the improvement will be $194,607, <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ORONO, <br />MINNESOTA; <br />1. <br />2. <br />The total cost to be assessed against bene fitted property owners is declared to be $123,900. <br />Assessments shall be payable in eq»ial annual installments extending over a period <br />of 15 years, the first of the installments to be payable on or before the first Monday <br />in January, 2001, and shall bear interest at the rate of 8 per cent per annum from the <br />date of the adoption of the assessment resolution. <br />3.The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer shall forthwith calculate the <br />proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, <br />piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as <br />provided by law, and shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the clerk's office for <br />public inspection. <br />4.The Clerk shall upon completion of such propose.* i.ssessment, notify the Council <br />thereof. <br />A Jopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota at a regular meeting held June 12, <br />2000 <br />Gabriel Jabbour, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Linda S.
