Variance Request: To permit a side yard setback <br />of 23’ where 50' is required. <br />Application Summaiy: The applicants are proposing to construct a 624 s.f. (24 ’ x 26^) attached <br />garage addition to the north side of the existing residence. The property is located on the comer of <br />Railroad Avenue and Spates Avenue. The e.xisting driveway will be used to access the proposed <br />garage. The proposed garage will be located 23’ from Spates Avenue. Spates Avenue is not a <br />heavily traveled street. The property is serviced with a well. The well, along with a three season <br />porch and deck are located on the east side of the residence (behind it). The existing garage will be <br />remodeled into a master bedroom/bath, laundry room and a 1/4 bath.
