1. The service charge shall be due 45 days after the billing date. <br />2. It shall be the duty of the City Administrator to endeavor to collect all <br />delinquent accounts. <br />3. Each year the City Administrator shall prepare an assessment roll <br />providing for the assessment of the delinquent accounts against the respective properties as <br />provided in Minnesota Statues 429.061, Subdivision 3, and shall certify same to the County <br />Auditor who shall thereupon enter such amount with the tax levy on said property collectible <br />with the taxes for the next year. <br />Subd. 9. Enforcement; Violation. <br />A. Enforcement. It shall be the duty of the Building Official to enforce the <br />provisions of this Section and to bring to the attention of the prosecuting attorney any violations or <br />lack of compliance herewith. <br />B. Civil Enforcement Appropriate actions and proceedings may be taken by <br />law or in equity to prevent any violation of the provisions of this Section to prevent unlawful <br />construction, to recover damages, to restrain, correct or abate a violation, to prevent illegal <br />occupancy of a building, or to prevent continued use of a non-compliant ISTS. <br />Source: City Code Effective Date: 4-1-84 <br />Subd. 10. Severability. If any provision of these standards or the application <br />thereof to any person or circumstances is held to be invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other <br />provisions of these standards or application of any other part of these standards which can be <br />given effect without application of the invalid provision.
