We get
the exact same response from the DNR for every vacation request. This vacation request
approval is inline with what other houses have done in the past in this area when building their
homes. I encourage you to attend the upcoming city council meeting to voice your concern.
Thanks
-Mark
On Nov 22, 2022, at 10:46 AM, Mary Tucker <maryltucker@gmail.com> wrote:

I was at the meeting last night and wanted to comment, but comments had
closed.
I would like to know why you are not weighing in on the DNR recommendation
to not sell. It is not about that this property would not be suitable for use It is
about preserving our natural resources.
They are a governing body that is protecting natural resources and to find that
the city did not even really dive into this last night is disappointing.
The city should be following the recommendation of the DNR to leave as is.
We keep developing on Lake Minnetonka and it would be wise to leave some
parcels not developed as recommended by the DNR. Why would a city entity
not listen to another govt body that has weighed in???
At the very least why are you "GIVING" these parcels away!
Concerned citizen,
Mary Tucker
3466 Ivy Place
Wayzata, MN. 55391
612-578-6415
