5 <br />HARDSHIP/DECSCRITION OF UNUSUAL POPERTY <br />CONDITIONS: <br />1780 SHADYWOOD RD....TONY AND LINDA PA TTERSON <br />A.SECOND STORY ADDITION <br />-The North wall of the second one-half storj’ of our existing residence falls within the 10ft setback <br />of our neighbors property line (7ft). We are applying for a variance based on the practical <br />difficulty of replacing the dormer existing second story with a full second story but not being <br />able to extend the addition the entire length of the original foundation without conforming to the <br />10ft setback ordinance. <br />B.REPLACE EXISTING FRONT DECK <br />-We would like to replace the e.xisting deck utilizing the same basic square footage. <br />Existing deck meets lake setback, however, the staircase protrudes into the 75ft setback but <br />will be re-located to conform in new design. <br />C.RE-BUILD SIDE ENTRANCE/MUD-ROOM <br />-We are proposing to replace the existing side entrance with new construction and a slightly larger <br />foundation that is suitable for our families active lifestyle.
