VOTE: Ayes 4, Nays 0, Abstention 1; Kluth Abswtn^^ <br />Kluth indicated he abstained due to a lack of information regarding this appli< <br />Hawn inquired whether a variance was granted to the Calvary Church. <br />Bottenberg Indicated a variance was granted to the Calvary Church approximately five years ago. <br />(#10) #2554 ANN AND GIL ANDERSON, 845 WILLOW DRIVE SOUTH, VARIANCES, <br />10:53 p.m. -10:59 p.m. <br />Ann and Gil Anderson. Applicants, were present. <br />Bottenberg stated the Applicants are proposing to construct an 18 by 10 foot master bedroom <br />addition to their residence. The addition will be constructed onto the side of their residence, <br />which is currently located 36.5 feet from the front property line. The septic site is located <br />59 feet to the south of the residence. Structural coverage is not an issue in this application. <br />The Applicant is seeking approval of a front yard setback variance. <br />Hawn inquired where the addition was going, noting she is confused by the survey. <br />Mrs. Anderson indicated the addition will be constructed on the south side of the residence, <br />just opposite of the driveway. <br />Weinberger indicated the survey was completed by a certified surveyor, but due to the size <br />of the scale, it is sometimes necessary to break the survey lines. The Applicants are <br />proposing to add a master bedroom addition to the side of the residence Weinberger stated <br />the addition should not adversely affect the adjoining neighbors. <br />Smith inquired whether there are any other issues regarding this application. <br />Weinberger stated the only issue is a variance to the front yard setback. <br />Smith noted the Planning Commission has looked favorably in the past on other similar <br />applications. <br />There were no public comments regarding this application. <br />Page 25
