A grant application has been submitted to the Minnesota <br />Housing Finance Agency for this purpose. However, to have the best chance of being funded, this <br />grant needs to be matched by funds from another source. Staff is preparing a grant application <br />through the Hennepin County CDBG program to obtain matching funds. This grant application <br />requires the adoption of the attached resolution authorizing the submittal of the grant application. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Motion to adopt the attached resolution approving the submittal of a request for funding through the <br />Urban Hennepin County Consolidated Pool Community Development Block Grant Program.
