Our review shows that several of these projects will need permits <br />from the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District. The following comments apply: <br />1. #2410: No MCWD stormwater permit is required. There appears to be no wetland BcjyWR <br />or floodplain impacts. If the project involves grading of more than 5,000 square feet <br />an erosion control permit will be required. <br />2. #2449: A stormwater permit will be required to address the issues of rate control and VO^T/ <br />BMP’s. Buffer zones will be required around all wetlands. The width of those UilSS. <br />buffers will depend on the surface area of the wetland. If any filling, draining or ----- <br />excavating is planned within the wetland boundary a permit will be required for that <br />activity. <br />3. #2447: Filling or grading below elevation 931.5 will require a floodplain alteration V/OOOHC <br />permit. A cut and fill summary would be needed to determine whether or not a net * * <br />decrease of the flood storage zone will result from the plarmed activity. <br />4. #2450: This project will be required to provide BMP’s for stormwater management. ^ <br />If grading of more than 5,000 square feet is involved an erosion control permit will <br />also be required. <br />Thank you for the opportunity to comment.
