A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF <br />ORONO PTO FOR <br />A ONE DAY OFF-SITE GAMBLING PERMIT <br />WHEREAS, the Orono PTO is licensed to conduct lawful gambling activities; and <br />WHEREAS, the Orono PTO has proposed to conduct a one day off-site gambling <br />activity (raffle) as part of its annual Mid Winter Fun Fest at the Orono Middle School on February <br />5.2000; and <br />WHEREAS, the Orono PTO is required to obtain approval of the off-site gambling <br />activity from the city in which the activity will occur. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Orono City Council does hereby <br />approve the application of the Orono PTO to conduct a one day ofT-site gambling acti\ ity (raffle) <br />at the Orono Middle School on Februaiy' 5,2000. <br />Adopted at a regular meeting of the Orono City Council this 10th day of January, <br />2000. <br />ATTEST:Gabriel Jabbour, Mayor <br />Linda S.
