RESOLUTION APPROVING PAY PLAN ADJUSTMENTS FOR <br />NON-UNION CITY EMPLOYEES FOR 2000 <br />WHEREAS, the City Administrator is responsible for annually presenting a pay schedule <br />for City employees, with the exception of employees covered by collective bargaining agreements: <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City Administrator has presented the City Council with said pay schedule <br />for calendar and budget year 2000, which pay schedule is attached hereto and hereby made a part of <br />this resolution; and <br />WHEREAS, sufficient funds have been appropriated in the proposed 2000 Annual Budget <br />to fund the recommended pay schedule and such other matters of compensation as herein specified. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Orono City Council as follows: <br />1. <br />2. <br />3. <br />That the 2000 employee pay schedule; reflecting a 2.0% pay adjustment effective 1- <br />1 -2000, a 1 % pay adjustment effective 7-1 -2000, and market-based pay adjustments; <br />attached hereto and made a part thereof, is approved. <br />That the City's contribution toward the cost of employee group insurance increase to <br />a maximum of $370.00 per month. <br />That City employees using their own vehicles for approved work related business <br />shall be compensated at a rate of $.325 ^er mile. <br />Adopted by the Council 10th day of Januar>". 2000. <br />Gabriel Jabbour, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Linda S.
