3770 Bayside Rd <br />Orono, MN 53356 <br />To: The City If C3rort <br />Enclosed are two apr,licatlons concerning my proposed <br />plans for rernod�-ling my house at 3770 Bayside Road. <br />The first. application iS for the vacation of a city <br />i,lley that. is west. of my property. Ire discussing the <br />vac=ation with Orono city officials. there is a question <br />whether- the adjacent_ property owners would be entitled to <br />half of the alley because they are ire a different <br />subdivision or plat. Enclosed is a check for $250 for the <br />vacation fee. <br />The sec=ond application is for a zoning variance for a <br />lot under the 2 acre minimum. The house was originally built <br />in 19'-15 and remodellad 2 years before I bought it in 2333. <br />Ne bujlading Permits were issued for that remodeling. Much of <br />the new remodelling I am Planning concerns bringing the <br />building up to the building codes. The remodelling will be <br />extensive. <br />The remodelling will extend the east wall four feet and <br />add a new zecond story. The large deck shown ire the r-lan <br />will riot be built but the existing deck might be t.urried into <br />a three season porch. The remodelling will to done by <br />Sylvestre Construction who has remodelled many beautiful <br />houses ire the Orono area. <br />Another large issuo will be the septic/sewer system. It <br />is my hope that the city sewer does get appr,--tved so a new <br />septic system will not be needed. With a addition of drain <br />fields we installed three years ago, our septic syst.ern has <br />been adequate for the two people living here. <br />Enclosed is a check for $175 for the variance <br />application fee.
