VILLAGE OF ORONO <br />Regular looting of the Planning Connission, <br />Noveaber 16^ 1970 <br />The Planning Coamissioii met on the above <br />date with the following members present: <br />Chairman Poisson, Doiigoske, Dorn, Elliott, <br />Gasch^ Kullbcrg, Nicholls, Russell, and <br />Councilman iteCarthy. Absent: fiartig, <br />O'ilalley, and Schooning. <br />Chairman Russell acknowledged the new <br />Chairman, Fred Poisson, who proceeded to <br />preside over the meeting. <br />Raymond Abrahamson represented himself in <br />an application for a division of his property <br />at 22S North Fcrndalc Road, Parcels 205- <br />3600, Section 36. He brought a rough sketch <br />in last monti; to sound the thinking of the <br />Planning Commission on the division at which <br />time he was informed they would give it a <br />favorable consideration if he brought in a <br />bettor preliminary plat. At this time, he <br />nrosented the new plat. It was first noted <br />by members that the new nlat consisted of <br />nine lots, whereas the old one was six. <br />Members then studied tl.c surrounding area <br />land observed Mr. Abrahamson was surrounded <br />^on one side by Hill-'J-Way, consisting of <br />lots approximately the same as the plat ns <br />presented, the railroad tracks on another <br />side and North Fuvndalo on the third side. <br />Russell moved, Elliott seconded, that the <br />division could not be allowed as presented <br />unless the property was zoned to R-lD. <br />.'lotion. Ayes (8) - Nays (0). <br />James Thilman represented himself in the <br />division of property at 915 Brown Road North, <br />Parcel 1010, Section 27. The Planning <br />Commission at the last meeting recommended <br />a division of the property into R-IC lot <br />sizes and that he should sell the lots in <br />multiples of these lots as approved. Ir. <br />Thilman presented a plat drawn un this way <br />and stated that the 14 acres had been sold, <br />divisod into four lots and that if, in <br />the long-range future, this would be <br />necessitated, the zoning perhans would be <br />different than the present. <br />lliott moved, Nicholls seconded, that tho <br />ots remain as presented in the first <br />preliminary nlat--that is, four lots, <br />.’lotion.
