Ayes (5) - Nays (0). <br />Charles Lattin's application for a garage <br />side-setb&ck variance from 10* to 3* at <br />2213 Shadywood Road, Lot 5, Block 2, Wiley's <br />Park, Parcel S600, was studied. <br />Kullberg moved, Dorn seconded, that since <br />there was a need for a garage, there was <br />no fire hazard, the njighbor's permission <br />was obtained, and no ’;raffic problem would <br />be involved, the vari ince should be apnroved, <br />Motion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). <br />The application of Lester Van horen for a <br />front garage setback variance from 35* <br />to 10' was studioii. There was a question <br />as to placing a garage 10* from a county <br />road. It was noted, however, that the 10* <br />was from the property lino, not the road <br />itself. Since the county right of way <br />is 66* and the street itself not over <br />30* wide, this did Icav-^ a margin for <br />Safety. Since there was no fire hazard, <br />and there was a need for the garage, the <br />terrain was such as to make the construction <br />of a garage impractical, .and many garages <br />were constructed this close and. even closer. <br />Gasch moved, Dorn seconded, to approve the <br />variance.
