L <br />Application For Conditional Use Permit <br />Applicant / Property Owner : Kim & John Puckett <br />Property Location : 4100 Watertown Road, Maple Plain 55359 <br />We purchased 13 acres of land at 4100 Watertown Road in June. The property is shown <br />on the attached survey as Lots 4,5 and .80 acre pasture easement on Lot 6. As avid horse <br />people, we are interested in maintaining the buildings and grounds as a first-class horse <br />property. <br />Bam Management : Suzy Kokesh will be responsible for both boarding and training the <br />horses and maintaining the buildings and grounds. Suzy grew up at 4100 Watertown <br />Road and has a great deal of pride in the property. She knows the property inside and out <br />and is intensely interested in restoring the facility to pristine condition. I have been <br />riding and boarding my horse with Suzy Kokesh for six years. She is extremely <br />knowledgeable about horses and maintains an immaculate facility. <br />A Partnership: We will keep 2-3 horses of our own in the bam so we will be actively <br />involved in the horse operation. The bam is literally in our front yard so it is important to <br />us that the horse facilities are kept properly with a minimum of activity. <br />Business Operation: Suzy is downscaling her business to meet her growing demands of <br />work and family. She is keeping a few long term clients and will not be offering lessons <br />to the public. Lessons will be offered to those who owti and board horses at our bam. <br />Pastxuing : The property has 7 pasture areas (existing). The horses are stabled and fe^d <br />grain and hay so they are not dependant on the pasture for feed. The horses are turned <br />out every’ day for 5-7 hours. A map of the pasture areas is attached. <br />Manure : Manure will be removed from the property on a regular basis.
