On June II. 2001. Council approved an <br />amendment of the zoning code to allow “churches ” os a conditional use in the B-4 OHice and <br />Professional Business District. <br />I he Bay W ind Christian Church lias slated they would like to move into this building for several <br />reasons. The church has steadily increased membership ov er llie past sev eral y ears and because of <br />this has lud to relocate sev eral limes. Also, the church anticipates the purchase and occupation of <br />the building as an interim step toward constructing a church building of its own. The church plans <br />to purchase and occupy this building for several years and then resell the building os ofRce space at <br />a later date. The church Jix*s not plan on making structural changes to the building, but will remodel <br />a number of interior spaces.
