Deciduous trees shall have a <br />minimum caliper of ^'/» inches. Coniferous trees shall be a minimum <br />of six feel in height Onuunenlal trees shall have a minimum caliper <br />of 1 Vi inches. <br />d) All site areas not covered by buildings, sidewalks, parking lots, <br />driveways, patios, or similar hardsurface materials shall be covered <br />with sod or an equivalent ground cover approv'ed by the cit>'. This <br />requirement shall not apply to site areas retained in a natural state. <br />e) In order to provide for adequate maintenance of landscaped areas, an <br />underground sprinkler system shall be provided as part of etch new <br />development, except one and two family dwellings and additions to <br />existing structures which do not at least equal the floor area of the <br />existing structure. A sprinkler system shall be provided for all <br />landscaped areas except areas to be preserved in a natural stale. <br />f) Not more than 50 percent of the required number of trees sh^l be <br />composed of one species.
