Deciduous trees <br />shall have a minimum caliper of 2'4 inches. Coniferous trees <br />shall be a minimum of six feel in height. Ornamental trees <br />shall have a minimum caliper of 1 *4 inches. <br />All site areas not covered by buildings, sidewalks, parking <br />lots, driveways, patios, or similar hardsurfacc materials shall <br />be covered w ith sod or an equivalent ground cover approved <br />by the city. This requirement shall not apply to site areas <br />retained in a natural state. <br />In order to provide for adequate maintenance of landscaped <br />areas, an underground sprinkler system shall be provided as <br />part of each new development, except one and two family <br />dwellings and additions to existing structures which do not at <br />least equal the floor area of the existing structure. A sprinkler <br />system shall be provided for ail landscaped areas except areas <br />to be preserved in a natural state. <br />» i
