Deciduous trees <br />shall have a minimum caliper of 2'/a inches. Coniferous trees <br />shall be a minimum of six feet in height. Ornamental trees <br />shall have a minimum caliper of 1 Vi inches. <br />All site areas not covered by buildings, sidewalks, parking <br />lots, drivev^-ays, patios, or similar hardsurfaec materials shall <br />be covered with >od or an equivalenf ground cover approved <br />by the city. This requirement shall not apply to site areas <br />retained iu a natural state. <br />In order to pro\ide for adequate maintenance of landscaped <br />areas, an underground sprinkler system shall be provided as <br />part of each new development, except one and two family <br />dwellings and additions to existing structures w*hick do not at <br />least equal the floor area of the existing structure. A sprinkler <br />system shall be provided for all landscaped areas except areas <br />to be preserved in a natural sttte. <br />1
