Absent: <br />Hays, Kuhlemeier, and Nicholls. <br />The meeting from 7:00-S:00 P.?l. consisted of <br />an open discussion with Attorney Ifhitehcad. <br />Natters brought up were specifically, (1) How <br />the Freshwater Biological Institute could put <br />a channel in and how it could be legally <br />controlled for all times, (2) Zoning enforce* <br />ment, (3) Single separate ownership, <br />(4) Coordination between Village Council, <br />Planning Comnission, Administration and Legal <br />Departments, it was decided between the <br />attorney and members that another meeting <br />would be scheduled in the near future. <br />7:00 P.N, <br />OiSdlSSIOH <br />Village Attorney <br />Pwirick Wells prej?ented his preliminary plat <br />for a division of property in both ‘ledina and <br />Orono-**two six-acre lot? to be in Orono. <br />Wian asked about the road into the property, <br />he inf'^rmed members that Engineer lills had <br />dtsi^ied the road and the cost would bo <br />bet*.een M,000 and $5,000 per lot. <br />Herfurth moved, Ryerse seconded, that the <br />preliminary plat should Lo approved contingent <br />on outlot 1 being combined with lot 1 to <br />forestall any fu • 2 • usage thereof, Motion, <br />Ayes (8) - Nays (0). <br />DIVISION <br />Patrick Nells <br />Sixth Avenus North <br />Members studied the variance of Harry Skrypec <br />to place a home on a lot reeding a variance on <br />frontage, acreage and side setback. After <br />members studied the plat book to take in <br />account the usage of the property in the rest <br />of the subdivision, <br />Kullberg moved, Gasch seconded, that the <br />variance be recommended because all the <br />properties in that plat are non-conforming to <br />the same e: tent. Motion, Ayes (a) - Nays (0). <br />Members studied the plat and the location of <br />a carport placed on a garage on the property <br />that was non-conforming in itself thus extending <br />the non-conformance.
