o <br />VILLAGE OF ORONO <br />Regular ?!eeting of the Planning Commission, <br />September 6, 1972 <br />The Planning Commission met on the above date <br />witii the following members present: Chair <br />man Poisson, Hays, Kokesh, Kullberg, Nicliolls, <br />and Ryerse. Absent: Elliott, Gasch, Searles, <br />Southworth, and Van Nest. <br />Hays moved, Kokesh seconded, that the Ilinutes <br />of the Regular Meeting of August 21, 1972, <br />be approved, with an addendum that tne <br />Robert McKee final plat was approved at that <br />meeting after the Village Engineer approved <br />it. Motion, Ayes (6) - Nays (0). <br />James McCleary represented himself in an <br />application for a lot size variance. On file <br />was a survey of his property showing the <br />location of present structures and proposed <br />structures, and easement as requested by the <br />Planning Commission at their last meeting. <br />Ryerse moved, Kullberg seconded, that approval <br />be recommended because: <br />1.The lot was comparable wit.i other properties <br />in that immediate area. <br />2.Tne proposed structure would be in line <br />with other structures in the area. <br />3.That while there could be some legal <br />problems with the easement, this was the <br />owners problem. <br />The building Inspector notified members <br />that it was not economically feasible to <br />remodel the house under the building code. <br />Motion, Ayes (6) - Nays (0). <br />4. <br />Robert Birkeland represented himself in a <br />petition to obtain final plat approval. The <br />Building Inspector adivsed members tliat V/illiam <br />Mills nad checked the plat and placed the <br />corrected acreage on one of the final plats, <br />ilembers noted all the lots except Lot 3 <br />corresponded closely with the preliminary plat <br />as approved, ilr. Birkeland said the reason <br />the one line was moved some was that when the <br />survey was made, tiie contour of the property <br />dictated that it be moved. <br />Kullberg moved, Poisson seconded, recommendation <br />be made that the final plat be approved as <br />Lot 3 still would bo an adequate lot and the <br />division in its entirety met the code, ilotion. <br />Ayes (6) - Nays (0). <br />7:45 P.II. <br />MINUTES <br />LOT SIZE VARIANCE <br />3587 North Shore Drive <br />I <br />FINAL PLAT <br />Nildhurst Trail 4 North <br />Shore Drive
