MbchMl Caffron <br />P»ge 6 ol: <br />R« Orono Vitage Narrabve <br />Ap»il i;.2002 <br />All residential buildings shouid be designed such that the garage doors are <br />not the most prominent feature of the exterior, particularly when seen from <br />the public street; <br />Garage doors shall be compatible with the overall color palette; <br />Accessory garage buildings and carports are prohibited; <br />Parking lots are only proposed to provide guest parking at the senior <br />cooperative and customer parking in the commercial area. <br />Sidewalks & Streets <br />Pedestrian-safe sidewalks or trails shall be provided along all public streets; <br />Pedestrian-safe sidewalks shall be provided along all private streets adjacent <br />to the rowhouses and senior cooperative building; <br />Sidewalks shall be lit by pedestrian-scale lighting, which may be combined <br />with or separate from the local street lighting; <br />Different paving materials shall be used to designate pedestrian-safe <br />crossings; <br />Street trees should be placed on average every 35 feet on the streets, and <br />Landscaped boulevards are encouraged on the public streets and the <br />pedestrian-oriented Main Street. <br />Open Space S Landscape <br />Landscape buffers shall be used to screen roadways (e g.
