While Orono may not recognize this in hardcover calculations, this <br />would 'Hinctionally ” reduce the hardcover for runoff far below the 25% limit. <br />Summary <br />In closing, the positive aspects of this project are obvious and ovenvhelming. <br />The intent of the ordinances - to iniprove Lake Minnetonka water quality by <br />minimizing water runoff, and to maintain proper size structures that beautify the <br />Orono lakeshore community - are all met without question. We are asking to <br />build an appropriate size home on our lot. We are asking for a variance only to <br />add a small amount of additional driveway to allow suitable house placement to <br />preserve three large trees, the loss of which would be an undeniable hardship in <br />all reasonable judgment from neighborhood beauty, practical and legal <br />perspectives. In granting this request, the character of our neighborhood is <br />preserved. With our proposal Orono benefits. Lake Minnetonka benefits, our <br />neighborhood benefits, and our family benefits. <br />We thank you for your time, thoughtful consideration, and we respectfully ask for <br />your approval of our variance request. <br />I
