DESCRIPTION OF REQUEST: <br />Request to constaict a new 'lindal Cedar" home at 3625 North Shore Drive for <br />residential use. The "28 x 42" 2 bedroom/2 bath home would have a 50 foot set <br />back from the lake shore and a 5-7 inch graduating west side line to allow the <br />face of the home to follow the lake shore property line. Allowances on hardcover <br />and tot coverage will be necessary. (see attached Aspen sketch for general <br />design layout) <br />Lindal Cedar homes provide an efTcient layout within a modest amount of space <br />in a quaint Lakeside Cottage style. <br />HARDSHIP/DESCRIPTION OF UNUSUAL PROPERTY CONDITIONS: <br />The four main problem areas are, the access road, lot size, well position and <br />limited parking. <br />The access road has a steep embankment ^ich runs parallel with county road <br />51 and provides access to this tot and five other neighboring properties. The <br />access road is narrow and congested due to resident and gusst parking. <br />The lot size is extremely narrow and the current home does not fall within the <br />new city allowances. <br />The new design is designed to accommodate the lot size and is position behind <br />the two existing neighbor's homes. <br />The well position - is currently out side of the city variances. <br />Limited space for safe parking - due to the narrowness of the lot and access <br />road there is limited parking available for the residents and or guests. <br />n 7 <br />. r <br />" ‘ • 1 <br />fr <br />kA ,1 *
