First, the applicant.s ha\e recently <br />purchased the property and are proposing to construct a 10’ addition to the side ofthe residence. 1 he <br />addition would be to enlarge the kitchen and mudroom. Fhe bedrooms below the kitchen would ahso <br />be increased by 10’ and a dormer would be added to the second lloor bedroom. In 1991. the former <br />owners ol the property applied for and were granted an average lakeshore setback to permit <br />constnicttan ol a major addition and other work to the residence. I he proposed addition lies behind <br />the average lakeshore setback determined in lā€˜*91. <br />fhe second part of the application is an addition to the detached garage. The applicants are <br />proposing to construct a 12’ wide storage area to the existing detached garage In 19S.3. a \ariance <br />was granted to allow a 24' x 32' (768 s.L) garage to be ' 'cated 9.»3' from the street property line <br />instead ol the required 35 feet. I he addition would be on the south side ofthe building and would <br />bring it to within approximately 25' of the residence.
