V".'. ••' . ^• .-■ <br />A '■ ■ '' <br />iXv. <br />. ... , r\*\* I <br />■VIr; <br />O <br />i' <br />o <br />Planning Coranission Work Session, June 30, 1975 <br />The Orono Planning Comnission met on the above date <br />with the following members present: Chairman John <br />Guthrie, Pesek, McDonald, Van Nest, Curtis, Dunlap, <br />Kallestad and Hannah: Leave of absence-Gasch: <br />Absent: Wooley § Hake. <br />Minutes of the previous meeting were approved as read <br />Ayes (8), Nay (0). <br />The Plaming Coranission considered all the properties <br />listed in Mr. Kallestad's report, particularly the <br />Robb property. They discussed the location of the <br />Robb property as a possible future expansion area <br />of the near by Industrial Zone on Multiple Residential <br />Zone, but appeared to favor this area for public <br />works location. <br />After reviewing this proposal, the Planning Coranission <br />suggested referral to the Park Coranission to determine <br />vdiether the lOt dedication fee be in land or money. <br />Dunlap suggested a proposed bikeway, also be called <br />to the Park Coranission attention. The applicant was <br />infoimed of the required 50* easement with proposed <br />private roadway as shown on his plan. <br />t <br />After reviewing the proposed DNR Shoreline Guidelines, <br />the Planning Coranission c".greed that Forest Lake and <br />Lake Minnetonka be classified as recreational <br />rather than general. <br />Brad Van Nest moved to recoranend to Council the <br />Village establish a policy of determining shorelines <br />and d^k lengths by establishing an ordinance high <br />water elevation of 929.4, the same elevation as <br />Gray*s Bay Dam. Guthrie seconded. <br />Ayes (8), Nay (0). <br />The Planning Coranission suggested the Village <br />Attorney be contacted as to vrtiether a Conditional Use <br />Permit application was the proper course of action <br />for a Day Care Center. <br />Dunlap questioned the status of the opeii storage <br />complaint by Mr. Ferrel against Mr. Naab at the last <br />Planning Coranission meeting. MQiich explained <br />that photos were taken § Mr. Naab was instructed to <br />correct the violation. The Planning Coranission <br />suggested another investigation be made and <br />recoranended referral to Council for action if the <br />violation has not been corrected.
