% <br /># <br />o <br />PLANNING COM^ISSICN MEETING MINUTES OF MAROi 17, 1975 <br />Richard McFarland presented his request for lot size <br />variance. Mihich explained the backgrcjund on this <br />piece of land. Hake stated he would abstam from <br />action on this request as he lives near this lot. <br />Pesek moved, Gasch seconded recommendation to Council <br />for approval of this variance request subject to septic <br />system approval. Motion, Ayes (6), Nay (0). <br />Mr. Lapinski presented a sketch of this proposed sub <br />division for a lot split and lot confcination. <br />Gasch moved, Hannah seconded approval granting this <br />subdivision providing he present to Council a survey <br />showing location of structures in relation to new <br />lot lines. Motion, Ayes (7), Nay (0). <br />Mr. Braun presented his request for a lot split. <br />Dunlap moved, Curtis seconded reconmei^ation of <br />approval of this subdivision to Council. Motion, <br />Ayes (7), Nay (0). <br />Mr. Bathke’s attorney, Richard Hassel, and Christopher <br />Dahl, the fee owner of the property, j^esented the <br />request for a variance from the lakeshore setback <br />requirement and explained seme of the history of the <br />property. <br />After considerable discussion, Curtis moved, McDonald <br />seconded tabling of this variance request for Council <br />to determine whether this is a part of Lake Minnetonka. <br />Motion was defeated. Pesek moved, Hannah seconded <br />reconmendation for denial of this request of Mr. Bathke <br />because the variance is to be within 30' of lakeshore; <br />however, a determination.should be made by Council <br />vdiether tie pond should be considered part of the lake. <br />Motion, Ayes (5), Nay (0), Abstain (1), McDonald. <br />Pesek reported on the findings to date of the Multiple <br />Housing Comnittee. Further study will be made on the <br />subject and report will be presented to Planning <br />Ccximission for final approval. <br />Future Planning Comnission meetings will be held <br />eight days prior to each Council meeting at 7:30 p.m. <br />with every other meeting being a work session and the <br />other meeting an action meeting. <br />-2 <br />VARIANCE <br />Richard McFarland <br />2185 Webber Hills Rd. <br />SUBDIVISION <br />Robert Lapinski <br />2950 Casco Pt.
