MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING HELD OCTOBER IS, 1973 Page 4 Discussion on lot sizes was tabled until the Novenber Planning Ccumission meeting, at which tine the Zoning Administrator would present additional information. HINIhRM LOT SIZE ?fr. Cliff Bjork presented the Navarre Community and Commerce Association plan for the Navarre area. Discussion of the proposal was tabled until all Planning Commission members had an opportunity to read the report. COMPREHENSIVE PLAN Ski Tonka has requested two conditional use permits. CONDITIONAL USE PERMITS One conditional use permit would be for the Ski Tonka construction of a pond. The second conditional use would be for the expansion of the ski tow facilities onto property that is presently being acquired. Searles moved, Elliott seconded,that a conditional use be approved since this was not a wetlands area and the excavating would not affect the drainage; but such approval is conditioned on the construction of a permanent fence around the pond, acquisition of the property to the east, and more detailed drawings showing the location, size, and depth of the pond. Ho:ion, Ayes (7) - Nays (0). 5 Elliott moved, Searles seconded, that a public hearing be scheduled for November 19, 1973, regarding the expansion of ski facilities onto the property that Ski Tonka is acquiring. Motion, Ayes (7) - Nays (0). PUBLIC HEARING DATE Ski Tonka Alendales request for a division and a variance was tabled until November to allow the Planning Commission an opportunity to inspect the property. DIVISION B VARIANCE Alendale Builders Van Nest moved, Searles seconded, that the sewer matter be referred to the Planning Commission after the public hearings. Motion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0).
