Ordinance No. <br />Page 2 <br />Svibdivision 4, Planning Commission Recommendation. At the <br />preliminary subdivision review stage the Planning Conunission shall, in <br />each case, recommend to the City Council the total area and location <br />of such land that the Planning Commission feels should be so conveyed <br />or dedicated within the development for the above public purposes and/or <br />the total amount of cash contribution to be made in lieu of land. The <br />Planning Commission shall consider the need and location for parks, <br />playgrounds, open space, storm water holding areas and ponds as <br />determined by the Park Commission and the Comprehensive Land Use Plan <br />of the City. <br />1) The Planning Commission may refer any proposed subdivision <br />to the Park Commission for their specific review and <br />recommendations. <br />2) Ihe Planning Commission shall refer each proposed subdivision <br />to the Park Commission for their specific review and recommenda­ <br />tions whenever the proposed subdivision includes forty (40) or <br />more acres of land and/or twenty (20) or more residential <br />dwelling units. <br />3) The Planning Commission shall refer all proposed land <br />dedications to the Park Commission for their review and <br />recommendations including land dedications offered by the <br />subdivider and/or proposals initiated by the Planning <br />Commission. <br />Subdivision 5. Park Commission Recommendation. !H»e Park <br />Commission shall, in each specific case referred to the Commission, <br />recommend to the Planning Commission and to the City Cotincil the <br />total area and location of such land that the Park CommisHion feels <br />should be so conveyed or dedicated within the development for the <br />above public purposes, and/or the total amount of cash contribution <br />to be made in lieu of land. The Park Commission shall consider the <br />need and location for parks, playgrounds, open space, storm water <br />holding areas and ponds as determined by the Compreh-=‘nsive Land Use <br />Plan of the City.
