ORONO COUNCIL MEETING HELD'JULY 26, 1976 Page 4 <br />July 15, 1976 <br />Mr. Giere is now requesting approval of the final <br />plat of his subdivision proposal. I am enclosing <br />copies of Loth the preliminary and final plans <br />for your review. <br />FINAL SUBDIVISION <br />350 North Arm Lane <br />(Continued) <br />Planning Commission Meeting - July 19, 1976 <br />The Planning Commission recommended approval <br />of this final plat subject to a par)c dedication <br />fee in the amount of $500 being paid. <br />#448 <br />Butler moved, Paurus seconded, to adopt <br />Resolution #694, A Resolution Approving The <br />North Arm Estates Second Addition. Motion, <br />Ayes (3) - Nays (0). <br />RESOLUTION #694 <br />North Arm Estates <br />Second Addition <br />Dick Benson, City Administrator, stated that when <br />the Super Valu proposal was approved, the City <br />staff informed all residents and others using <br />the area for parking that the municipal parking <br />lot was available for daily parking and that <br />construction was to commence immediately. Letters <br />have also been sent to Super Valu ^md the <br />contractors on the site requesting their <br />assistance in seeing that their personnel use <br />the site and not the street for daily parking. <br />NAVARRE PARKING <br />Commuters are still parking their vehicles on <br />the street and catching a bu& for work. This <br />does create a problem for all the businessmen <br />and those who ^pend tmon drop-off business <br />transactions. <br />The only solution is to po-st certain parking <br />limitations to allevi -tt^ Lhe problem. <br />A petition signed by twenty-three Navarre <br />businessmen was presented which stated: We,the <br />undersigned businessmen of Navarre area, are <br />requesting two-hour parking on County Road <br />#15, also known as Shoreline Drive, from County <br />Road #19 west to Navarre Avenue from 6x00 A.M. <br />to 6:00 P.M. <br />PETITION <br />Navarre Parking <br />Searles moved, Paurus seconded, to adopt <br />Resolution #695, A Resolution' Requesting Two- <br />Hour Parking Signs On County Road #15 At Navarre. <br />Motion, Ayes (2) - Nays (1). Councilmember <br />Butler Nay. <br />RESOLUTION #695 <br />Two-Hour Parking Signs <br />Henry Muhich, Building a Zoning Administrator, <br />stated that Dan Lindsay (Kelly Avenue Holding <br />Co.,), 2505 Kelly Avenue, is requesting approval <br />of the final plat as submitted.
